چکیده
Chili peppers (Capsicum annuum L.) was one of the vegetables that have good marketing prospects in Indonesia. However, disease often found chili plants is anthracnose. Anthracnose usually caused by fungus, Colletotrichum sp. which can attack from growing period until harvest. The purpose this study to isolate and analyze phylogenetic fungi as a pathogen taken traditional market Bandar Lampung, We isolated peppers. That characterized macroscopically microscopically, namely W1, has been identified W1 then analyzed phylogenetically using Internal Transcribed Spacer (ITS) sequence. Molecular Evolution Genetics Analysis (MEGA) software version X used sequence obtained. known Colletorichum scovillei had deposited GeneBank with accession number LC577889.

Colletotrichum species causing anthracnose disease of chili in China
Anthracnose caused by Colletotrichum species is a serious disease of more than 30 plant genera. Several Colletotrichum species have been reported to infect chili in different countries. Although China is the largest chili-producing country, little is known about the species that have been infecting chili locally. Therefore, we collected samples of diseased chili from 29 provinces of China, from...

متن کاملCharacterization and Pathogenicity of New Record of Anthracnose on Various Chili Varieties Caused by Colletotrichum scovillei in Korea
The anthracnose disease caused by Colletotrichum species is well-known as a major plant pathogen that primarily causes fruit rot in pepper and reduces its marketability. Thirty-five isolates representing species of Colletotrichum were obtained from chili fruits showing anthracnose disease symptoms in Chungcheongnam-do and Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea. These 35 isolates were characterized acco...
متن کاملPolygalacturonase inhibitor protein from fruits of anthracnose resistant and susceptible varieties of Chilli (Capsicum annuum L).
Chilli fruit is highly susceptible to anthracnose infection at the stage of harvest maturity, due to which the fruit yield in the leading commercial variety Byadgi is severely affected. Field studies on screening of several varieties for resistance to anthracnose have shown that a variety of chilli AR-4/99K is resistant to anthracnose infection. In many crops, resistance to fungal attack has be...
متن کاملStarch fossils and the domestication and dispersal of chili peppers (Capsicum spp. L.) in the Americas.
Chili peppers (Capsicum spp.) are widely cultivated food plants that arose in the Americas and are now incorporated into cuisines worldwide. Here, we report a genus-specific starch morphotype that provides a means to identify chili peppers from archaeological contexts and trace both their domestication and dispersal. These starch microfossils have been found at seven sites dating from 6000 year...
